In fact, we have exactly one traditional classroom; the rest is filled with creative spaces, fully equipped specialty labs, studios and other places to hone your craft. In BEAU, you’ll find a campus community that fits your style. You’ll learn alongside artistic and distinctive students—just like you. You’ll receive the support and direction you need from industry-experienced professors who will help you turn your creativity into a worthwhile and successful career in the entertainment arts.
Our learning areas are customized to give you hands-on training on industry-relevant and specialty-specific equipment and software. We have student lounges where you can meet friends and classmates to relax, collaborate and develop your creative ideas.
BEAU understands the creative process—especially how inspiration can strike at any hour. That’s why we give you 24/7 campus access, including studios, labs and equipment.
BEAU is just 10 minutes from the heart of downtown Salt Lake City, where you can take in the local arts scene, dine and shop. At the historic Temple Square, you can visit the beautiful temple grounds. At nearby City Creek Center, you can experience world-class shopping and dining, or head to Sugar House, one of the city’s oldest neighborhoods and the go-to area for bookshops, art galleries and hip eateries.
If you find creative inspiration in nature, you’re in luck. BEAU is surrounded by the Wasatch and Oquirrh mountains. With beautiful vistas all around you, you’ll feel relaxed and inspired, no matter the time of day. Within minutes from campus, you can hike, camp, ski and snowboard. Take a half-hour drive to Park City and enjoy outdoor activities, from hiking and mountain biking to outdoor concerts and arts festivals.
